Rainfall has once again lashed the city of Mumbai and after a night of deluge that uprooted trees, brought down houses and submerged vast parts of the city. The NDRF rescued 290 passengers who were stranded on two trains in Mumbai as the heavy rainfall stopped train movement with the tracks being filled with water. The heavy rains left many stranded on the roads, Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde was also found stuck in a traffic congestion on the Eastern Freeway for over 3 hours. And this now new. It’s the same story every year.
