There is much buzz in the last week about Kashmir Files.. the movie which focusses on the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits who were forced to leave the valley in the early years of terrorism in the 1990s. I haven’t seen the film yet so will not comment on the film per se. What I will comment on is the politics swirling around the film, politics that I choose to call the ‘Truth files’. You see our netas have an uncanny knack of claiming that they alone have the monopoly over truth.
