Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket on Sunday. However, he will continue to play IPL. Speaking exclusively to India Today, Legendary India batsman Sunil Gavaskar rated MS Dhoni as one of the greatest India captains. Whatever he has achieved for India makes him legend, his performances for India on field, his leadership qualities, the way he has groomed youngsters, the way he has groomed the spinners makes him legend.”
He further said, “Soon after World Cup 2011, IPL started and at the first match of Chennai Super Kings, I met MSD and told him that in this world if I know that I have got few minutes left then I will ask somebody to put that shot on because then I would love to see that shot and say goodbye to the world. I would go with smile.”
