This week, my focus is on the deeply depressing politics in the smallest state in the battle for 2022: Goa, one of my many home states, a state that I have a special affection for as the land of birth of my father who till date remains the only Goa born cricketer to play for India, but also sadly now a state where politics is now totally transactional, where defections has become so routine that I almost feel that we should replace Aya Ram Gaya ram with Aya Michael Gaya Michael or should I say, Aya Sardesai, gaya Sardesai
