A day ahead of the Ram mandir bhoomi pujan in Ayodhya, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath organised a mammoth Hanuman Chalisa paath at his official residence in Bhopal. The Hanuman Chalisa paath was attended by a number of Congress leaders.
Other Congress leaders organised the recitations at their residences across the state. Uttar Pradesh Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has issued a statement in support of the ceremony saying the event can be a celebration of national unity in India along with friendship and brotherhood among all.
