A young colleague in the newsroom asked a perfectly legitimate question: where were you in 1990? Her reference was to the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits.. and her insinuation was, or at least appeared to me, that the media had failed to highlight the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits at the time.
