This week’s most striking image has to be the mounds of cash that have been found at the residence of Arpita Mukherjee, close aide of the Bengal minister, Partha Chatterjee.. Not, one, not two, but reportedly 50 crore cash found in just two places.. So much for Bengal being seen as a ‘poor’ state. God knows how much more is lying around.. this could be one fears just the tip of the iceberg and is hugely embarrassing for the Mamta Banerjee government in Bengal.
